Heroes, Villains and Average Joes - Dumbo Arts Center

3 person exhibition, curated by Alex Baker, at the Brooklyn based DUMBO arts center. My large scale mixed-media paintings portrays villains as criminals pulled from the daily papers, anonymous “bad” people such as counterfeiters, prostitutes, and murderers. In these paintings, which resemble 3D postcard, I created an illusionistic field in which narrative imagery is suspended between layers of resin.
