Kimber Lite and the Pipes @ SFMOMA

SFMOMA, San Francisco, California

June 2009 - January 2010

Residency and Exhibition

Over the course of six months, I constructed two 75’ kinetic window installations in conjunction with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art’s 75 anniversary. This exhibition integrates materials of mass consumption to recreate American pop icons. Through the use of acrylic nails, synthetic hair, beading, wire, and electrical components, I portrays society’s absorption with materialism and celebrities as intangible entities.
